On the edge of the forest, the residence is situated 900 m high in the Ballon d'Alsace Regional Park. Originally a farmhouse, it was later used to accommodate holiday camps for children. Its present owner bought the house in 1996 and refurbished it entirely to equip it with all modern conveniences. Beside the owner's living quarters, two separate self-contained apartments are now available to
holiday-makers.

Situated on the first floor, this bright apartment overlooks a wide patio on the South side, accessible from the car park and from the yard by an access ramp. Its surface is approximately 80m² and it has been designed to accommodate a person in a wheelchair.
